Privacy Policy

TimerWOD (“the app”) is made by Click Statement Inc. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
TimerWOD never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts or payment details. To make the app work, it collects:
• An anonymous user ID. The app signs you in anonymously (no account or password) so your workout log can be saved.
• Your workout log. Workouts you complete (timer type, settings, times, rounds and any notes you add) are stored in our cloud database under your anonymous ID.
• A notification token. If you allow notifications, your device gets a token so we can send occasional news and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings.
• App usage and diagnostics. Information such as which features are used, app version, device model, operating system, and crash and performance data, used to improve the app.
• Feedback you send. If you email us (for example with “Send feedback” in the app), we receive your email address and message.
How we use it
Only to run the app (saving your workouts, delivering notifications), to understand how the app is used, and to fix problems and improve features. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging and Google Analytics for Firebase) to provide these features. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Data may be stored on servers in the United States.
Links in the app
The News section and some notifications link to our website or partner pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Keeping and deleting your data
Workout logs are kept until you ask us to delete them. Usage data is kept according to Google Analytics’ retention settings. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. To ask us to delete your cloud data, email support@timerwod.com.
Children
TimerWOD is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with Google’s security protections.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
